Discussion on Economics of Pittsburgh Sports with Steelers CFO, Mark Hart! (10/7/09)

Mark Hart, CFO of the Pittsburgh Steelers gave an excellent presentation about the economy and the Steelers at the Rivers Club on Wednesday, October 7th. This was a very interactive discussion, as the audience kept asking questions through the end of the evening. One of the main topics that Mark discussed was the importance of a new, revenue generating stadium. This allowed the Steelers to earn enough revenue to be able to afford good players. He also talked about the impact of football on the economy and how the Steelers help to stimulate the economy through their sold out games and fan based support.
