Dean’s Alumni Reception - Dr. James B. Thomas (11/11/09)

On Wednesday, November 11, 2009, Jim Thomas came to the Grand Concourse in Pittsburgh to speak about the Smeal College of Business. He discussed his plan to make Penn State one of the nations top five public business schools. Guest speaker Ryan Shinton also spoke about how his positive Penn State experience helped him to obtain an internship with Dicks Sporting Goods and how he was then able to obtain a career at Dicks Sporting Goods directly following college. We had a great turnout and we would like to thank the Smeal College of Business for coordinating such a great event.
